Precautions

This medication may burden the liver, so those who regularly consume more than three alcoholic drinks a day should consult a physician or pharmacist before taking it. One of the ingredients in this medication, acetaminophen, can rarely cause serious skin reactions, so if a rash or other hypersensitivity reactions occur, discontinue use immediately. The maximum daily dosage of acetaminophen should not exceed 4,000 mg, and it should not be taken with other products containing acetaminophen to prevent liver damage. The pseudoephedrine component of this medication can rarely cause severe skin reactions, so if fever, redness, or small blisters appear, stop taking it and consult an expert. Those with allergies or hypersensitivity reactions to this medication or its ingredients should not take it. Individuals who have experienced asthma or have infants under three months old, those taking certain antidepressants or psychiatric drugs, or patients with severe hypertension or serious kidney disease should not use this medication. While taking this medication, it is advisable not to take cough medicines, other cold medications, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines together. Children suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, individuals with specific allergic conditions, or those with liver, kidney, or heart diseases should consult an expert before taking this medication. If symptoms such as rash, itching, vomiting, dizziness, insomnia occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician. Immediate treatment is necessary in case of severe allergic reactions or symptoms of liver dysfunction. Children under two years old should not use it, except in special cases. When taking, follow the prescribed dosage and method, do not use it for long periods, and avoid alcohol. Drowsiness may occur, so driving or operating machinery should be avoided. When taken with certain antidepressants or alcohol, the metabolism of acetaminophen in the body may slow down, so caution is necessary. While taking this medication with certain antibiotics, severe metabolic abnormalities may occur; if symptoms are suspected, discontinue use immediately. Store in a place out of reach of children, protect from direct sunlight, and keep in a cool, dry place. Do not transfer to other containers, and precautions should be taken to prevent misuse and maintain quality.
