The acetaminophen component in this medication may very rarely cause serious skin reactions, so any skin rash or allergic symptoms occurring during use should result in immediate discontinuation of the medication. Care should be taken to not exceed a daily maximum dosage of 4,000mg of acetaminophen and not to take it together with other products containing acetaminophen. People who have had an allergic reaction to this medication or its components, those who have a history of triggering asthma, infants under 3 months old, and those taking MAO inhibitors such as certain antidepressants or antipsychotics should not take this medication. Children who have had or are suspected to have chickenpox or influenza, those with allergic predispositions or prior drug allergy experiences, individuals with liver, kidney, or heart disease, gastrointestinal disorders, elderly individuals, and pregnant or nursing women should consult a specialist before taking this medication. If symptoms such as rash, itching, nausea, dizziness, or insomnia occur during use, the medication should be discontinued immediately, and a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted. Particularly, if hives, respiratory distress, or severe skin reactions occur, immediate medical attention is required. Children under 2 years old should generally not be administered this medication, and a doctor’s consultation is required if deemed necessary. The prescribed dosage and administration must be strictly adhered to, it should not be taken for an extended period, and alcohol should be avoided during the course of treatment. Due to the risk of side effects when combined with certain medications, any current medications being taken should be disclosed, and special caution is needed when taking this medication together with flucloxacillin. Finally, this medication should be stored out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight and moisture, in a sealed container, and it should not be transferred to another container to maintain its quality.
