This medication is used for patients who need to take Pimasartan and Atorvastatin together. Pimasartan is used to treat essential hypertension and helps lower blood pressure. Atorvastatin reduces the risk of myocardial infarction and stroke in adults with a high risk of coronary artery disease and in patients with type 2 diabetes. It also reduces the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, angina, and hospitalization for heart failure in patients who already have heart disease. Additionally, Atorvastatin is used to treat hyperlipidemia, lowering cholesterol and triglycerides, while increasing good cholesterol (HDL). This medication is used for the prevention of hypertension and coronary artery disease, as well as the improvement of dyslipidemia.
