Relief of moderate to severe acute and chronic pain
This medication is used to relieve acute and chronic pain ranging from moderate to severe.
Children 12 years and older, and adults: The dosage should be adjusted according to the level of pain and the treatment response. It is recommended to administer an initial dose of 4 tablets, followed by a minimum interval of 6 hours for subsequent doses, but do not exceed 16 tablets in one day. Administer the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration possible. Avoid prolonged use beyond what is necessary, and if long-term use is required due to the nature and severity of the disease, regular monitoring must be conducted to determine the continued administration of this drug. Elderly: Administer the usual adult dosage. However, for elderly patients over 75 years, when tramadol is taken orally, the elimination half-life of tramadol increases by 17%, so this drug should be taken at least a minimum of 6 hours apart. Renal impairment: For patients with moderate renal impairment (creatinine clearance 10-30 ml/min), extend the dosing interval to 12 hours. For patients with severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance less than 10 ml/min), administration is not recommended. Tramadol is removed very slowly during hemodialysis and filtration, so it is not necessary to re-administer this drug after dialysis for the maintenance of analgesic effect. Hepatic impairment: Carefully consider extending the dosing interval for patients with moderate hepatic impairment. This drug should not be administered to patients with severe hepatic impairment.
Children 12 years and older, and adults: The dosage should be adjusted according to the level of pain and the treatment response. It is recommended to administer an initial dose of 4 tablets, followed by a minimum interval of 6 hours for subsequent doses, but do not exceed 16 tablets in one day.
