This medication is used to improve fever and pain caused by colds, headaches, neuralgia, muscle pain, menstrual pain, and sprained pain from strains. It is also effective for toothache, joint pain, and rheumatic pain. Overall, it helps alleviate various types of pain.

How to take

Child dose

For children under 12 years old, the recommended single dose is taken every 4–6 hours as needed. Do not exceed five doses in one day (75 mg/kg) and dosage based on weight (10–15 mg/kg)

Precautions

This medication can place a burden on the liver, so individuals who consume more than three alcoholic beverages daily should consult a doctor or pharmacist. To prevent liver damage, do not exceed the maximum daily dosage of acetaminophen, which is 4,000 mg, and do not take it with other acetaminophen-containing products. If any abnormal symptoms such as rashes, itching, or red spots appear on the skin while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult medical personnel. Allergic reactions or severe skin disorders may occur; therefore, individuals with hypersensitivity or those who have experienced similar symptoms in the past should not take this medication. It is also safer for people with peptic ulcers or severe liver, kidney, or heart conditions to avoid this medication.
