Precautions

This medicine should not be used in patients who have previously experienced allergic reactions to any of its components. While taking this medicine, very rare serious allergic reactions such as shock or anaphylaxis may occur, so it is necessary to stop administration immediately and receive appropriate treatment if symptoms appear. Additionally, since there may be a decrease in white blood cells or platelets, blood status should be monitored periodically, and the medication should be discontinued if there are any abnormal signs. It may affect liver function, so if there is a worsening of liver function test results or the appearance of jaundice, administration should be stopped and treatment received. It is necessary to stop taking the medication if allergic skin reactions such as itching, rash, or urticaria occur. Nervous system symptoms such as dizziness, drowsiness, or paralysis may occur, so caution should be exercised when driving or operating machinery. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as dry mouth, constipation, abdominal bloating, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, heartburn, abdominal pain, belching, and taste disturbances may occur. If there is a significant increase in liver enzyme levels, accompanied by fever or rash, discontinue the medication immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Periodic blood tests are required, as platelet reduction or changes in white blood cell counts may occur. Various symptoms such as breast swelling, breast pain, gynecomastia, breast milk secretion, palpitations, fever, facial flushing, tongue paralysis, cough, respiratory distress, hair loss, menstrual disturbances, and edema may rarely occur, so consult a specialist if abnormal symptoms appear. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should only take this medication if the therapeutic benefits outweigh the risks, and breastfeeding should be avoided as the drug may be transmitted through breast milk. Safety in children, especially low birth weight infants, neonates, and young children, has not been fully confirmed, so caution is needed in using this medication. Elderly patients do not show a significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions compared to the general adult population, but caution should be taken regarding side effects such as gastrointestinal symptoms due to weakened bodily functions.
