This medication helps relieve respiratory symptoms such as coughing and phlegm, and is also used for the improvement of asthma symptoms. It alleviates inflammation in the mouth and throat caused by stomatitis and tonsillitis, reducing discomfort and pain in the throat. It is effective for symptoms such as sore throat and swelling of the throat. Therefore, it is used for these respiratory and oral inflammation symptoms.

How to take

Adult dose

Ages 15 and above: 1 tablet at a time, 6 times a day. (Dose interval of at least 2 hours)

Child dose

Ages 11 to under 15: 1 tablet at a time, 4 times a day. (Dose interval of at least 3 hours) Ages 8 to under 11: 1 tablet at a time, 3 times a day. (Dose interval of at least 4 hours)

Precautions

This medicine contains the artificial sweetener aspartame, which breaks down into phenylalanine in the body. Therefore, individuals with the genetic disorder phenylketonuria should not take this medication. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, infants under 3 months old, persons allergic to this medicine or its ingredients, and those currently taking or having recently stopped taking certain MAO inhibitors such as specific antidepressants or antipsychotics should not use this medication. Additionally, this medication contains lactose and should not be administered to patients with lactose intolerance or related genetic disorders. It is safer not to take this medication concurrently with other cough medicines, cold medications, antihistamines, or tranquilizers. Persons with a history of allergies or who have experienced allergic reactions to medications, as well as individuals with liver, kidney, heart, or thyroid diseases, diabetes, hypertension, the elderly, pregnant or nursing women, or those with specific cough symptoms should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine. If any atypical symptoms such as rash, itching, vomiting, dizziness, anxiety, trembling, or insomnia occur during use, you should stop taking it immediately and consult a specialist. Also, if symptoms do not improve after 5-6 doses, stop taking it and consult a doctor. Children under 2 years of age should not use this medicine except in special cases, and children under 7 years old are recommended to take it in syrup form. This medication must be taken according to the prescribed method and dosage, and supervision by a guardian is required when children are taking it. Alcohol should be avoided during use. Finally, this medicine should be stored in a place out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, in a cool, dry place, and in a sealed container. It is important not to transfer it to another container for quality maintenance.
