Aporin Capsule (Acebrophylline)

Adult dose

Adults: Take 100 mg of acebrophylline orally twice daily.

This medication should not be used by patients with an allergy to specific components, acute myocardial infarction, low blood pressure, severe liver or kidney dysfunction, or women who are breastfeeding. Additionally, it contains lactose, so patients with lactose intolerance or related genetic disorders should not take it. Patients with heart disease, epilepsy, gastric ulcers, hyperthyroidism, hypertension, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, as well as the elderly, children, and pregnant women should use this medication cautiously. Side effects such as nausea, dizziness, indigestion, rash, and difficulty breathing may occur, and if these symptoms appear, one should stop taking the medication immediately and consult a physician. Toxicity may occur if blood levels increase, so dose adjustment is necessary for patients with impaired liver or kidney function. When taken together with other medications, interactions may occur, so it is essential to inform your doctor of any medications you are currently taking.
