Acute bronchitis is a condition characterized by sudden inflammation of the bronchi, primarily presenting symptoms like cough, phlegm, and difficulty breathing. This medication alleviates the symptoms of acute bronchitis, reduces inflammation, and eases breathing. Therefore, it is used for the treatment of acute bronchitis.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults and children over 12 years: Take 1 tablet at a time, 3 times a day, with a small amount of water.

Precautions

This medication is not recommended for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. It should not be administered to patients with a tendency for bleeding or those taking anticoagulant medications. Avoid use in patients with severe liver or kidney dysfunction. Patients with a history of allergic reactions to any components of this medication should not take it. As it contains lactose, individuals with lactose intolerance, certain genetic enzyme deficiencies, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should refrain from using this product. Children under 12 years old should not use this medication. During usage, gastrointestinal disturbances such as abdominal pain, heartburn, nausea, and diarrhea may occur, and occasional gum bleeding or nosebleed may arise. Allergic reactions including skin rashes or itching may occur rarely, and very rarely severe allergic symptoms like facial swelling, breathing difficulties, or hypotension may present. Signs of impaired liver function may occur, so if jaundice, dark urine, severe upper abdominal pain, or loss of appetite develop, discontinue use immediately. If fever, dyspnea, or hemoptysis persist, stop taking the medication and consult a healthcare professional. It is advisable to avoid lying down during administration. This medication may affect coagulation, hence the risk of bleeding may increase if taken alongside anticoagulants. During pregnancy or breastfeeding, safety has not been established, so it’s preferable not to take it. In cases of overdose, side effects may become exacerbated, hence consultation with a doctor is necessary. Store out of reach of children, and it’s safe not to transfer to other containers. The effects on driving or operating machinery are unknown.
