Acute bronchitis is a disease characterized by symptoms such as cough, phlegm, and difficulty breathing due to inflammation of the airways. This medication is used for the relief of symptoms associated with acute bronchitis.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults and those over 12 years: 1 tablet per dose, 3 times a day, taken with a small amount of water.

Precautions

This medication is not recommended for use by pregnant or breastfeeding women. Patients who have a tendency to bleed or are taking anticoagulants should not take this medication. Patients with severely impaired liver or kidney function should also avoid using this medication. Individuals with allergic reactions to any component in this medication should refrain from taking it. This medication contains lactose, so individuals with genetic disorders that prevent lactose digestion should not take it. It is advisable for children under 12 years old not to take this medication. While taking this medication, gastrointestinal symptoms such as abdominal pain, heartburn, nausea, and diarrhea may occur. Occasionally, symptoms of bleeding such as gum bleeding or nosebleeds may appear. Allergic reactions such as skin rash, urticaria, and itching may occur rarely. In very rare cases, serious allergic reactions such as facial swelling, difficulty breathing, or hypotension may occur, so if any unusual symptoms arise, immediate consultation with medical personnel is necessary. There may be an abnormality in liver function while taking this medication, so it is essential to stop immediately if symptoms such as jaundice, changes in urine color, or severe abdominal pain occur. If symptoms persist for more than a week or if fever, difficulty breathing, or blood-stained phlegm occurs, stop taking the medication and visit a hospital. It is advisable not to take this medication while lying down. No interactions with other medications have been reported to date; however, caution is needed when taken with medications that affect blood coagulation. Safety during pregnancy or breastfeeding has not been confirmed, so it is recommended not to use it in these situations. Exceeding the recommended dosage may intensify side effects; therefore, consult with a physician if uncertain about dosage. Keep out of reach of children, and do not transfer to another container, as it is safer.
