This medication is used to relieve various symptoms associated with colds. Additionally, it helps relieve systemic symptoms like chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain. Taking this drug can improve overall cold symptoms and lead to faster recovery. Therefore, it is used for the relief of cold symptoms.

How to take

Adult dose

Aged 15 years and over: Take 20 mL once, three times a day, 30 minutes after meals. The interval between doses is generally 4 hours.

Child dose

Aged 11 years and over - under 15 years: Take 13 mL once, three times a day, 30 minutes after meals. Aged 7 years and over - under 11 years: Take 10 mL once, three times a day, 30 minutes after meals. Aged 3

Precautions

This medication can place a burden on the liver, so individuals who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol daily should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. The acetaminophen in this medication can infrequently cause serious skin reactions, so if skin rash or allergic symptoms occur, it should be discontinued immediately. Care should be taken not to exceed a maximum daily dose of 4,000 mg of acetaminophen and it should not be taken in conjunction with other products containing acetaminophen. Individuals allergic to this medication or its ingredients, those with a history of asthma, infants under 3 months of age, and those taking certain antidepressants should not use this medication. During use, it is safest not to take other medications that include cough medicine, cold remedies, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Children suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, those with allergic conditions, liver or kidney diseases, and pregnant or nursing women should consult a healthcare professional before use. If serious side effects such as rash, itching, vomiting, dizziness, severe skin reactions, or difficulty breathing occur after use, discontinue immediately and consult healthcare professionals. This medication should not be administered to children under 2 years of age, and if necessary, a physician's consultation should be sought. Use this medication strictly according to prescribed dosages and avoid long-term use, and ensure supervision when administering it to children. Avoid alcohol during use, as drowsiness may occur; it is advisable to avoid driving or operating machinery. If taken with specific medications, it may affect drug metabolism; therefore, consult a healthcare professional if taking any concurrent medications. Store this medication in a cool and dry place out of the reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and do not transfer to other containers.

Interactions

Drug interactions

Do not take this medication with other products that contain acetaminophen, MAO inhibitors (antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, antiparkinsonian agents, etc.), cough expectorants, other cold medications, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines (oral medications for rhinitis, motion sickness remedies, allergy medications). Take care when using concurrently with diabetes medications, gout medications, arthritis medications, anticoagulants, steroids, barbiturates, and tricyclic antidepressants.
