This medication is used restrictively for specific infections such as acute bacterial sinusitis, acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, simple urinary tract infections, and acute otitis media. In elderly patients, those with impaired kidney function, and those taking corticosteroids simultaneously, the risk of tendinitis and tendon rupture increases, so it should be avoided. If symptoms of pain, inflammation, or tendon rupture occur, immediately discontinue the medication and avoid physical activity. This medication may increase the risk of seizures, so it should be used cautiously in patients with epilepsy or central nervous system diseases, and should be discontinued immediately if seizures occur. Pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, nursing mothers, adolescents under 18 years of age, and patients with certain genetic disorders should not take this medication. During treatment, avoid exposure to sunlight or artificial ultraviolet light and discontinue immediately if photosensitivity reactions occur. Patients with diabetes who require blood sugar control should carefully monitor their blood sugar levels, and appropriate measures should be taken if hypoglycemia or hyperglycemia symptoms occur. This medication has many drug interactions; caution is particularly needed when co-administering with anticoagulants, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, and certain antacids, and the dosing intervals should be adjusted. Regular monitoring of liver function, kidney function, and blood tests is necessary to check for abnormalities during treatment. When driving or operating machinery, be cautious of neurological adverse reactions such as dizziness or drowsiness. This medication should only be taken under a doctor's direction and for the appropriate duration and dosage; in case of overdose, notify medical personnel immediately. It is advisable that children, patients with specific allergies, and patients with certain genetic disorders do not take this medication.
