This medication is used for painful muscle spasms associated with musculoskeletal disorders, such as cervical spondylosis occurring around the shoulders and arms, periarthritis of the shoulder, and low back pain.

How to take

Adult dose

Since this medication is a sustained release tablet, it should be taken whole without crushing, splitting, or chewing. Adults should take 1 tablet (75 mg of eperisone hydrochloride) twice a day orally after meals. Adjustments should be made according to age and symptoms.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by patients who are allergic to it or have severe muscle weakness. Patients who have had allergic reactions to medications or have liver function issues should use this medication with caution. Allergic symptoms such as rash, itching, swelling, and difficulty breathing may occur while taking this medication, so if such symptoms appear, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor. If severe skin rashes, blisters, or stomatitis occur, discontinue use immediately and seek appropriate treatment.
