This drug should not be used in certain patients. For instance, those who are allergic to this drug or its components, have infections of the nasal mucosa, have recently undergone nasal surgery, have wounds in the nose, and children under 2 years of age should not use this drug. Additionally, patients with tuberculosis, fungal or viral infections, those with herpes simplex in the eye, frequent nosebleeds, those exposed to chickenpox or measles, those with certain types of tumors in the nose, and pregnant or breastfeeding women should use this drug cautiously. While using this medication, side effects such as headaches, cold symptoms, nosebleeds, cough, and sore throat may occur. Rarely, severe reactions such as allergic responses or anaphylaxis may occur, so if unusual symptoms appear, use should be discontinued immediately and consult a doctor. Caution is needed for long-term high-dose use as systemic steroid side effects may appear. If nasal infection symptoms appear, this medication may need to be stopped or appropriate treatment may be required. This drug tends to restore the nasal mucosa without damaging it, but regular checks on the nasal condition should be carried out if used long-term. In particular, if there is a risk of exposure to infectious diseases such as chickenpox or measles, one should confirm vaccination history and medical history and inform healthcare professionals immediately if an infection occurs. In children, there may be a risk of growth delay, so growth should be regularly monitored during administration, and safety has not been established in children under 2 years of age. Elderly patients may have diminished body function, so use should be carefully monitored. Specific treatment is not required in the case of overdose, but caution should be used as excessive steroid use may lead to adrenal function decline. Before use, the container should be well shaken, and care should be taken to ensure even spraying, avoiding direct spraying onto the eyes or nasal septum.
