Improvement of sputum expectoration in acute and chronic respiratory diseases
This medication helps dissolve mucus in acute and chronic respiratory diseases, aiding in the expulsion of mucus from the airways. This allows the patient to breathe more easily and alleviates uncomfortable cough symptoms. Additionally, the expectorant effect helps remove sticky secretions from the bronchi, improving respiratory function. Overall, it is effectively used for symptom relief in respiratory diseases.
Adults: The usual dose of erdosteine is 300 mg orally 2 to 3 times daily. Do not administer for more than 10 consecutive days when treating acute respiratory disease.
