This medication is used to treat and prevent osteoporosis that occurs in postmenopausal women. How to take

Adult dose

Administer 60 mg orally once daily as Laroxtipene Hydrochloride.

Precautions

This drug is used for the treatment and prevention of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women. Care should be taken when taking this medication, as the risk of thrombosis, particularly venous thromboembolism, may increase. If you experience restricted movement, you should stop taking the medication and may restart once your condition has improved. Patients with liver function issues may have elevated blood levels of this drug, so regular liver function tests should be conducted, and it should be administered with caution. This medication is not for use in premenopausal women and should not be given to pregnant or potentially pregnant women or nursing mothers, as it may harm the fetus or nursing infant.
