In summary, this drug is used to treat urinary and skin infections caused by various bacterial infections and oropharyngeal inflammation.
1) For urinary tract infections: For uncomplicated lower urinary tract infections (e.g., cystitis), administer cefadroxil 1 to 2g (activity) divided into 1 to 2 oral doses daily. For other urinary tract infections, administer 2g (activity) divided into two doses daily. 2) For skin and soft tissue infections: Administer 1g (activity) divided into 1 to 2 oral doses daily. 3) For pharyngitis and tonsillitis: For beta-hemolytic streptococcal infections of pharyngitis and tonsillitis, administer 1g (activity) divided into 1 to 2 oral doses for 10 days. ○ For children 1) For urinary tract infections and skin and soft tissue infections: Administer 30mg (activity) per kg of body weight divided into two oral doses daily. 2) For pharyngitis and tonsillitis: Administer 30mg (activity) per kg of body weight divided into 1 to 2 oral doses daily.
