How to take

Adult dose

Do not take more than 4 times within 24 hours.

Child dose

Ages 6 to 12: 10 mL, every 4 to 6 hours. Ages 2 to 6: 5 mL, every 4 to 6 hours. Do not administer to children under 2 years of age unless absolutely necessary; in that case, a doctor's consultation is required.

Precautions

This medication contains pseudoephedrine and may rarely cause serious skin reactions like acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis (AGEP). If you experience fever, red spots, or small blisters on your skin, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician or pharmacist. Patients taking MAO inhibitors or who have stopped taking them within the last 2 weeks should not use this medication, and it should also be avoided by individuals with uncontrolled severe hypertension. During treatment, it is important not to take other cold medications, cough suppressants, expectorants, antihistamines, sedatives, or alcohol. If you or any family members have a history of allergies or drug allergies, liver, kidney, or thyroid disease, diabetes, high fever, are in a weakened state, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have heart disease or hypertension, you must consult a physician or pharmacist before taking this medication. It should not be given to children under 2 years of age unless necessary, in which case a doctor's examination is required. Discontinue use and consult a professional if you experience symptoms such as rash, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, dizziness, anxiety, or insomnia during treatment, or if symptoms do not improve. Use should also be stopped if cough persists for more than 7 days or is accompanied by fever or persistent headache. Moreover, if acute abdominal pain, rectal bleeding, sudden severe headache, nausea, confusion, seizures, or visual disturbances occur, you should stop taking the medication and consult medical staff immediately. This medication should be taken strictly according to the prescribed dosage and frequency, and when given to children, it must be supervised by a guardian. Store this medication out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, in a cool and dry place. Additionally, it should be stored in the original container, as transferring it to another container may lead to misuse or degradation of quality.
