This medicine is used to relieve symptoms of cough and phlegm.

How to take

Adult dose

For individuals aged 15 and over, take 15mL four times a day after meals and at bedtime. When taking 5-6 doses a day, maintain approximately 4-hour intervals.

Precautions

This medicine should not be administered to infants under 3 months of age. Those who have had allergic reactions to this medicine or its components should not use it. Individuals currently taking or who have stopped taking MAO inhibitors such as antidepressants or antipsychotics for less than 2 weeks should also refrain from using this medicine. It is advisable not to take this medicine with other cough remedies, cold medications, allergy medications, or sedatives while taking it. People with a history of allergies or those who have previously experienced allergic symptoms due to medications should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. Individuals with liver, kidney, heart, thyroid diseases, diabetes, hypertension, glaucoma, urinary difficulties, the elderly, and those who are weak or have high fever should consult a specialist before use. Pregnant or breastfeeding women must consult healthcare personnel before taking this medicine. Smokers or individuals with asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, or who have a cough persisting for more than a week, fever or rash, or a cough accompanied by continuous headaches should also consult a professional before use. If symptoms such as rash, itching, nausea, dizziness, urinary difficulties, severe thirst, anxiety, tremors, insomnia, etc., occur while taking, stop immediately and consult a doctor. If symptoms do not improve after taking for 5-6 doses, consult a professional. Except in special cases, children under 2 years of age should not take this medicine; if absolutely necessary, they should be evaluated by a physician. This medicine should be taken according to the prescribed dosage and administration; especially in children, it should be administered under parental supervision. Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine and refrain from activities that require alertness, such as driving or operating machinery, as drowsiness may occur. Store this medicine out of reach of children, protected from direct sunlight, in a cool place with low humidity in a tightly sealed container. Additionally, to prevent misuse and maintain quality, do not transfer it to another container.

Drug interactions

Do not take this medicine with MAO inhibitors (such as antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, anti-Parkinson's medications, etc.), other cough expectorants (phlegm medications), cold medications, antihistamine-containing oral medications (for rhinitis, anti-motion sickness, allergy medications), or sedatives. Do not take within 2 weeks after stopping MAO inhibitors.
