Precautions

This medication must be used according to the specified dosage. Confusing milligrams (mg) and milliliters (mL) can lead to serious side effects or toxicity, so caution is required. When oral medication can be taken, it is advisable to use an appropriate analgesic straight away. If other medications are taken, it is essential to check whether those medications contain the component of this drug to avoid overdose. Exceeding the recommended dosage can cause serious liver damage, so patients with impaired liver function should take it only after consulting a doctor. Symptoms of liver damage may appear typically 2 to 6 days later, so if abnormal symptoms occur, it is necessary to visit a hospital immediately. People who consume alcohol frequently and daily should consult an expert before taking this medication, as the risk of liver damage may increase. If severe rashes, blisters, or red spots appear on the skin during the use of this medication, stop taking the drug immediately and consult a doctor. Individuals with allergies to acetaminophen or this drug, or those with peptic ulcers, severe liver or renal disorders, should not use this medication. Patients with severely compromised heart function or a history of aspirin-induced asthma should also avoid taking this medication. Precautions should be taken when using this medication in those with liver or kidney dysfunction, the elderly, pregnant women, lactating mothers, and children, and consultation with a doctor may be necessary. This medication may interact with other drugs, so it is essential to inform about any medications currently being taken, especially when used with certain antibiotics, anticonvulsants, and anticoagulants. Overdose can result in symptoms like vomiting, loss of appetite, abdominal pain, and in severe cases, liver failure and death, requiring immediate medical treatment. This medication does not affect driving or machine operation; however, it should not be mixed with other drugs. After administration, symptoms of infection may be masked, so appropriate treatment is required if infection is suspected.
