Precautions

This medication may increase heart rate, which could lead to angina symptoms; therefore, careful observation of symptoms such as chest pain is necessary. It should not be administered to patients with a risk of bleeding or those who have recently had a bleeding disorder, and patients with congestive heart failure should also be cautious as symptoms may worsen with this medication. It should not be given to patients with hypersensitivity to this drug or to pregnant or nursing women. Patients taking anticoagulants, antiplatelet drugs, thrombolytics, women who are menstruating, patients with coronary artery stenosis, severe kidney or liver dysfunction, diabetic patients, and hypertensive patients should use this drug cautiously. Elderly patients with arrhythmias or structural abnormalities of the heart should also be cautiously administered this medication, and if new heart murmurs or symptoms occur after taking this medication, they should consult a physician immediately. When taking this medication, side effects such as headache, diarrhea, palpitations, arthralgia, and chest discomfort may occur, so it is essential to inform healthcare professionals if any unusual symptoms appear. Serious side effects such as severe bleeding, blood disorders, interstitial pneumonia, heart failure, and myocardial infarction can occur, so immediate medical attention is needed if symptoms arise. This medication may cause dizziness, so caution is required when driving or operating machinery, and it is recommended to take it on an empty stomach, as taking it with food may increase blood concentration and risk of side effects. As this medication is metabolized in the liver, blood concentrations may change when used with certain drugs, so it is important to consult healthcare professionals if there are concurrent medications. Pregnant women or those who may become pregnant and nursing mothers should not take this medication, particularly during pregnancy as it may affect the fetus. Safety for children or infants has not been established, so its use is discouraged. Elderly patients may have reduced bodily functions, so dose adjustments and caution are necessary.
