Acute bronchitis is a disease characterized by inflammation of the respiratory mucosa, leading to symptoms such as cough, sputum, and fever. This medication is used to relieve the symptoms of acute bronchitis and protect lung function.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults and children 12 years and older: 1 tablet, 3 times a day with a small amount of water.

Precautions

This medicine is not recommended for use by pregnant or nursing women. Patients with a tendency to bleed or taking anticoagulant medication should avoid this medicine. Patients with severe liver or kidney impairment should also refrain from using this medicine. Individuals who have had an allergic reaction to any of the ingredients in this medicine should avoid taking it. Since this medicine contains lactose, patients with genetic disorders such as galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take this medicine. It is safest for children under 12 years of age to avoid this medicine. Patients allergic or hypersensitive to Yellow No. 4 (Tartrazine) should use this medicine with caution. Digestive symptoms such as stomach pain, heartburn, nausea, and diarrhea may occur during use; if any unusual symptoms persist, consult a physician. Rarely, symptoms of bleeding such as gum bleeding or nosebleeds may occur, so caution is necessary. Allergic reactions may manifest as skin rashes, hives, and itching; in severe cases, symptoms like facial swelling, difficulty breathing, and low blood pressure may occur. There may be impaired liver function, so if symptoms such as jaundice, dark urine, abdominal pain, or loss of appetite occur, cease use immediately and visit a hospital. This medicine may lower platelet counts, so blood tests may be required. If symptoms do not improve within a week after taking the medicine, or if symptoms like fever, difficulty breathing, or blood-stained sputum persist, discontinue use and consult a physician. It is advisable to avoid taking this medicine while lying down. No interactions with other medications have been reported, but caution is needed when taken with drugs that affect blood coagulation, such as warfarin. Safety during pregnancy or lactation has not been established, so it is preferable to avoid taking this medicine in these circumstances. Adverse reactions may worsen in cases of overdose, so if an overdose occurs, consult a physician immediately. Keep this medicine out of reach of children and do not transfer it to another container.
