This medicine should not be used by anyone who is allergic to this drug or any of its components. Caution should be exercised when using this drug in individuals with liver problems or a history of liver disease as it may worsen liver function. If allergic symptoms such as skin rash, urticaria, swelling of the face or extremities, or severe itching occur during use, stop using the drug immediately and consult a doctor. This medication may rarely cause neurological symptoms such as drowsiness, fatigue, headache, dizziness, insomnia, nightmares, and sensory abnormalities. Digestive-related side effects, such as indigestion, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation, and dry mouth, may also occur, and if symptoms are severe, you should inform a healthcare professional. Periodic checks of liver health are necessary as liver dysfunction or jaundice may develop, and if abnormal symptoms occur, discontinue use. May affect kidney function, potentially leading to proteinuria, so kidney status should also be monitored. Rarely, urinary symptoms such as frequent urination, hematuria, or dysuria may occur, so caution is needed. Symptoms such as rapid heartbeat may occur, so report these to your doctor. Respiratory symptoms like difficulty breathing or nasal congestion may rarely appear. In blood tests, there may be a decrease in platelet count or an increase in white blood cell count, so if you have abnormal symptoms, you should get tested. In women, breast enlargement, menstrual irregularities, or breast pain may rarely occur. This medicine is not designed to relieve asthma attacks quickly, so patients with asthma need to understand this well. Patients undergoing long-term steroid treatment should gradually reduce their steroid dosage while taking this drug, following the doctor's instructions. Drowsiness may occur, so caution is needed when driving or operating machinery. If effects are not observed, long-term use should be avoided. For seasonal allergies, it is recommended to start taking the medication before symptoms worsen and continue until symptoms resolve. While the combination with other sedatives or alcohol is unlikely to enhance sedation significantly, caution is advised due to limited combined usage experiences. For the most part, it is expected to have minimal interaction with other medications during metabolic processes. Safety during pregnancy has not been established, so women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should consult a doctor and use the medication cautiously. Breastfeeding women should avoid using this drug if possible, as it may pass into breast milk, or discontinue breastfeeding while using it. Safety for children, especially newborns or infants, has not been sufficiently verified, so caution is necessary for use. Elderly individuals may have reduced liver and kidney function, so it is important to closely monitor for any abnormal symptoms and adjust dosages if necessary. Overdose may lead to heart rhythm abnormalities, so if symptoms occur, seek immediate medical attention for appropriate treatment such as gastric lavage or diuresis. This medication should be stored out of the reach of children and should not be transferred to another container for safety. Taking it before meals may increase blood drug concentration, so it is recommended to take it for allergic rhinitis and asthma before bedtime, while for skin diseases, it should be taken after meals.
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
