This medication is used to prevent and continuously treat asthma. It also helps alleviate symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis. It is effective in maintaining respiratory health and improving allergic symptoms.

How to take

Adult dose

This medication should be taken once daily, with asthma patients taking it in the evening, and allergic rhinitis patients adjusting the dosing time based on their condition. Patients with both asthma and allergic rhinitis should take 1 tablet, once daily in the evening. This medication should be administered 1 hour before meals or 2 hours after meals.

Child dose

Children aged 6 to 14 years should chew 5 mg once daily. This medication should be administered 1 hour before meals or 2 hours after meals.

Precautions

This medication is used to treat asthma and allergic rhinitis. While taking this medication, there may be effects on the central nervous system, so if symptoms such as restlessness, anxiety, depression, hallucinations, sleep disturbances, or suicidal thoughts appear, inform your doctor immediately. This medication contains the artificial sweetener aspartame, therefore patients with phenylketonuria should avoid taking it. In the case of formulations containing lactose, patients with genetic conditions such as galactose intolerance or lactase deficiency should not take this medication. Side effects such as fatigue, headache, abdominal pain, dyspepsia, cough, and rash may occur after taking this medication; if these symptoms are severe or persistent, consult your doctor.
