Precautions

This medication should not be used by patients who have an allergic reaction to this drug or any of its components. Additionally, this medication contains lactose, so people with a genetic disorder that prevents the digestion of lactose should not take this medication. Patients with liver disease or a history of liver disease should use this medication cautiously, as there is a risk of worsening liver function, and close monitoring is required. If you experience allergic symptoms such as rashes, hives, itching, or swelling while taking this medication, you must stop taking it immediately and seek medical attention. Occasionally, neurological symptoms such as drowsiness, headache, dizziness, insomnia, and nightmares may occur, so caution is advised. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, abdominal pain, anorexia, diarrhea, and constipation may rarely occur, so consult a doctor if symptoms are severe. Liver function abnormalities may occur, so if liver enzyme levels rise or jaundice symptoms develop, stop taking the medication immediately and consult with healthcare professionals. This medication may affect kidney function, so if symptoms such as proteinuria appear, it should be monitored carefully. Urinary symptoms like frequent urination or hematuria may occur rarely, so report any symptoms to a doctor. Palpitations may occur, so be cautious if you experience symptoms of heart racing. Breathing difficulties or nasal congestion may occur rarely, so report any abnormal symptoms to healthcare providers immediately. Blood-related issues such as thrombocytopenia or leukocytosis may occur, so regular monitoring is necessary. In women, rare symptoms such as gynecomastia, menstrual irregularities, and breast pain may occur, requiring consultation if any symptoms arise. This medication does not provide rapid relief of asthma attacks, so asthma patients should understand this point while taking it. Patients receiving long-term steroid treatment should gradually reduce their steroid dosage while using this medication. This medication may cause drowsiness; care is needed when driving or operating machinery. If it is ineffective, do not continue taking it long-term. For patients with seasonal allergies, it is recommended to start taking this medication before symptoms begin and continue during the duration of symptoms. Although the possibility of this medication enhancing sedative effects is low when taken with other sleeping pills, antihistamines, or alcohol, caution is needed due to insufficient experience with combination use. This medication has little interaction with other drugs metabolized in the liver, so it is expected to be safe when combined with drugs affecting metabolism. The safety during pregnancy is uncertain; therefore, women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should take it only after consulting a doctor if necessary. Since this medication can be transmitted through breast milk, breastfeeding women should avoid taking it if possible or discontinue breastfeeding. The safety for children, especially low birth weight infants or newborns, has not been sufficiently established, therefore caution is advised. Older adults often have decreased liver and kidney function, increasing the risk of adverse reactions, so regular observation of symptoms and dosage adjustments may be necessary. Overdosing may lead to heart rhythm disturbances, so if an overdose is suspected, immediate medical attention should be sought. Keep this medication out of the reach of children and do not transfer it to another container for safety reasons. Taking it on an empty stomach may increase blood concentration; therefore, the timing and method of administration should follow the doctor's instructions based on the condition.
