This medication is used in patients who require the combined administration of two drugs, telmisartan and rosuvastatin. Telmisartan is effective for the treatment of essential hypertension and helps to reduce the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, and mortality due to cardiovascular disease in patients aged 55 and older with a high risk of cardiovascular disease. Rosuvastatin is used to lower blood cholesterol levels in patients with hypercholesterolemia and mixed hyperlipidemia, and to delay the progression of atherosclerosis. In addition, it contributes to reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease and the risks associated with stroke, myocardial infarction, and revascularization procedures in high-risk patients over a certain age. This medication effectively manages both hypertension and hyperlipidemia and significantly improves cardiovascular health.
