This medication is used for patients who need to take both telmisartan and rosuvastatin simultaneously. Telmisartan helps reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases along with the treatment of essential hypertension. It is particularly effective in reducing the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, and death from cardiovascular diseases in high-risk patients aged 55 or older who cannot use ACE inhibitors. Rosuvastatin Calcium is used as an adjunct for patients with hypercholesterolemia and dyslipidemia when dietary and exercise measures are insufficient, lowering LDL cholesterol and delaying the progression of atherosclerosis. Additionally, it reduces the risk of stroke and myocardial infarction in high-risk cardiovascular disease patients. Therefore, this medication is used to treat high-risk cardiovascular patients with hypertension and dyslipidemia.
