For patients with renal impairment, mild to moderate renal impairment does not require dosage adjustment; however, treatment should start at a lower dose for patients with severe renal impairment, and the dose should be gradually increased. Precautions

This medication should not be used in pregnant women or women of childbearing potential, especially during the second and third trimesters, as it can pose serious risks to the fetus. It should not be administered to patients with certain conditions, such as severe liver dysfunction, severe valvular heart disease, severe hypotension, cardiogenic shock, and unstable heart failure after acute myocardial infarction. Additionally, due to its strong blood pressure-lowering effects, special caution should be taken when administering this medication to patients with primary aldosteronism, renal vascular disease, active gastrointestinal disease, the elderly, and patients with reduced kidney function. This medication lowers blood pressure and may lead to symptoms of hypotension; if such symptoms occur, the patient should be laid down and intravenous fluid treatment should be initiated if necessary. It may increase serum potassium levels, so patients at risk of hyperkalemia must have their potassium levels monitored regularly through blood tests. If this medication is taken during pregnancy, there may be renal function abnormalities or skull formation defects in the fetus, so the fetal condition should be monitored regularly. It is not recommended for nursing women, and its use should be avoided during breastfeeding. Possible side effects include dizziness, peripheral edema, headache, fatigue, and if any symptoms are severe, consultation with healthcare professionals should be sought. During treatment, caution is required when driving or operating dangerous machinery, as drowsiness or dizziness may occur. Interactions may occur when taken with other medications, so patients taking diuretics, potassium supplements, lithium, digoxin, warfarin, etc., should inform their healthcare provider. In case of overdose, severe hypotension, tachycardia, dizziness, and acute renal failure may occur, so immediate medical attention is required for appropriate treatment. The safety and efficacy of this medication in children have not been sufficiently proven, and its use is not recommended.
