Precautions

This medication is used to alleviate symptoms of asthma and allergic rhinitis. When taking this medication, there may be psychiatric side effects, so the patient and their guardian should watch for changes such as agitation, anxiety, depression, hallucinations, and suicidal thoughts. If any of these symptoms occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician. This medication contains aspartame, an artificial sweetener that is broken down to phenylalanine in the body, thus patients with phenylketonuria should avoid it. Additionally, it contains lactose, so patients with lactose intolerance or related genetic disorders should not take this medication. This medication is not an emergency treatment for acute asthma attacks, so separate emergency medications should be used if acute symptoms occur. Do not use this medication alone to treat exercise-induced bronchospasm; continue using inhaled bronchodilators as needed. Patients who are hypersensitive to aspirin or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs should avoid these medications while taking this drug. This drug should only be administered during pregnancy if absolutely necessary, and caution is required for breastfeeding mothers. Children and the elderly can also take this medication, but they should follow the doctor's instructions considering age-related safety and efficacy. In cases of overdose, there is no specific antidote, so it is important to receive general treatment and monitoring according to symptoms. During treatment with this medication, do not arbitrarily reduce or discontinue other asthma treatments without a doctor's guidance, and consult medical personnel immediately if symptoms worsen. Finally, keep this medication out of the reach of children, and do not transfer it to another container.
