Relief of difficulty in expectoration in respiratory diseases such as acute and chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma.
When patients have difficulty in expectorating phlegm, it may be related to respiratory diseases such as acute/chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma, laryngitis, sinusitis, and cystic fibrosis. This medication helps relieve symptoms of difficulty in expectorating phlegm associated with these respiratory diseases. Therefore, it aids in better phlegm discharge, making breathing more comfortable. It is used to improve such symptoms.
In acute conditions, adults should take 200 mg once, three times a day before meals with a small amount of water. In chronic conditions, adults should take 200 mg once, twice a day before meals with a small amount of water.
In acute conditions, children aged 6 to 14 years should take 200 mg once, twice a day before meals with a small amount of water. In chronic conditions, children aged 6 to 14 years should take 100 mg once, three times a day before meals with a small amount of water.
This medication should not be taken by individuals allergic to this medication or any of its components. Patients with ulcers in the stomach or duodenum should not take this medication. Children under 2 years of age should not use this medication. Pregnant women or women who may become pregnant must consult a physician before taking this medication. It is also important for nursing women to consult a specialist before taking this medication since it is not precisely known if this medication passes into breast milk. If gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, inflammation of the mouth, heartburn, or diarrhea occur while taking this medication, it should be discontinued immediately, and a physician should be consulted. Symptoms like hives, itching, rash, headache, tinnitus, or breathing difficulties may occur in asthma patients, so if such symptoms arise, it is important to stop taking the medication and consult a specialist. If there are rapid heartbeats or elevated blood pressure, it should be discontinued immediately. Serious side effects such as difficulty in breathing have been rarely reported, so caution is required. When taken with antibiotics, it is advisable to take them at least 2 hours apart as they may reduce each other's effectiveness. Do not mix other medications with the solution of this medication. Store in a safe place out of the reach of children. Transferring the medication from its original container to another container may lead to incorrect dosage or pose a risk of compromising the quality of the medication, so it must be stored in the original container.
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
This medication should be taken with oral antibiotics at least 2 hours apart. Also, avoid adding other medications to the solution of this medication.
This medication should be stored in a tightly sealed container to prevent the effects of air or moisture. It is safest to store it at room temperature between 1 and 30 degrees Celsius.
