Precautions

This medication is used to relieve symptoms of allergic asthma and allergic rhinitis. This medication should not be used by patients who are allergic to this medication or any of its components. It also contains lactose, so patients with lactose intolerance, galactose intolerance, or genetic lactase deficiency should not take this medication. This medication is not intended for the treatment of acute asthma attacks; immediate emergency treatment is necessary when asthma suddenly worsens. Patients should always carry a rescue inhaler and continue taking this medication even during periods of no asthma symptoms. During treatment, neuropsychiatric symptoms such as anxiety, depression, agitation, hallucinations, and suicidal thoughts may occur, so if any of these symptoms arise, consult a doctor immediately. Patients who have hypersensitivity to aspirin or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs should avoid taking these medications while on this treatment. Safety evaluations have been conducted across various age groups from children to adults, and long-term use has not significantly increased the occurrence of adverse reactions. In case of overdose, since there is no specific antidote, general symptomatic treatment and medical observation are necessary. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should take this medication carefully after consulting a doctor. During storage, it is important to keep it out of reach of children and not to transfer it to other containers. If asthma symptoms worsen or the frequency of using a rapid-acting inhaler increases, a doctor should be consulted, and no asthma treatments should be reduced or stopped without a doctor’s directive.
