Eldro Capsule (Erdosteine)

Adult dose

Take 1 capsule 2~3 times daily.

This medicine should not be used in patients with hypersensitivity to the active ingredient. Additionally, as this medication's components can interfere with certain metabolic processes in the liver, patients with liver cirrhosis or specific enzyme deficiencies should avoid it. This product contains a colorant known as Yellow No. 5, and those allergic or sensitive to this colorant should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. In case of overdose, symptoms such as excessive sweating, dizziness, and facial flushing may occur, so caution is advised. Commonly reported side effects include fatigue, dyspepsia, abdominal pain, diarrhea, vomiting, headache, and skin rash; however, it cannot be definitively concluded that these are due to this medication. This medication can be used in conjunction with antibiotics, bronchodilators, and cough suppressants, but it is advisable to consult a professional before use. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should refrain from using this medication, as its safety has not been fully established. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, and care should be taken not to transfer it to another container, as this could lead to accidents or degradation of the drug's quality.
