Caution is advised if there is a family history of allergic conditions such as asthma, skin rashes, or hives. Patients with significantly impaired kidney function should use this medication with special caution. Patients who cannot consume sufficient food, elderly individuals, or those in poor general condition should be monitored closely for signs of vitamin K deficiency. Patients with a history of gastrointestinal disorders, particularly those who have had colitis, should also be administered this medication with caution. This drug can rarely cause serious shock reactions, so if any unusual symptoms occur, immediate discontinuation and appropriate treatment are required. If allergic symptoms such as skin rash, hives, facial swelling, itching, or fever occur, the administration should be stopped. Watch for side effects like decreased blood cell count, liver dysfunction, or kidney function deterioration. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as severe colitis or diarrhea, nausea, abdominal pain may occur, and immediate cessation of medication is needed if these symptoms appear. Additionally, if respiratory issues such as cough or difficulty breathing arise, treatment should be discontinued and medical care sought. Oral cavity infections or candidiasis may also occur rarely. Central nervous system symptoms such as dizziness, drowsiness, or headache may be evident, with seizures reported in rare cases. Serious skin reactions, including Stevens-Johnson syndrome, may develop, requiring careful monitoring of the skin condition.
