Adult dose
For recurrent tonsillitis and other upper respiratory tract infections, lower and upper respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, as well as mild to moderate skin and soft tissue infections, take 25 mg/3.6 mg per kg of body weight divided into 2 doses daily. For severe infections such as otitis media, sinusitis, and lower respiratory tract infections like bronchial pneumonia, take 45 mg/6.4 mg per kg of body weight divided into 2 doses daily. To minimize potential gastrointestinal intolerance, it is advisable to administer at the beginning of meals.
Child dose
The 7:1 syrup is not suitable for children under 2 months of age, nor for pediatric patients with renal failure.

This medication is used to treat infectious diseases caused by various bacteria. It is effective for respiratory tract infections such as acute and chronic bronchitis, lobar pneumonia, bronchial pneumonia, empyema, lung abscess, tonsillitis, sinusitis, and otitis media. It is also used for urinary tract infections like cystitis, urethritis, and pyelonephritis, as well as pelvic infections and gonorrhea. Additionally, it is effective for skin and soft tissue infections, abscesses, cellulitis, wound infections, and conditions like osteomyelitis and dental infections. It helps restore patients' health by treating such diverse infectious diseases.

How to take

Adult dose

Liver enzyme levels may increase, or symptoms of liver disease like hepatitis or jaundice may appear, so consult a healthcare provider if any unusual symptoms occur. Skin rash, itching, and in severe cases, serious allergic reactions like Stevens-Johnson syndrome or anaphylaxis may occur, so if any symptoms arise, the medication should be stopped immediately and treatment sought.
