This medication is used to alleviate symptoms such as nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, tearing, sore throat, and heaviness in the head due to acute rhinitis, allergic rhinitis, and sinusitis.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

For individuals aged 15 years and older and adults: Take 1 tablet 3 times a day after meals. Dosage intervals should be at least 4 hours apart.

Precautions

This medication should not be administered to infants under 3 months old. Additionally, it should not be used by people who have had allergic reactions to this medication or its ingredients. Breastfeeding women should either avoid taking this medication or discontinue breastfeeding. Specifically, those currently taking or have stopped taking certain antidepressants or antipsychotics known as MAO inhibitors should not use this medication for at least two weeks. This medication contains lactose, so it should not be taken by individuals with genetic issues such as lactose intolerance, lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption. During the use of this medication, do not take other oral medications for rhinitis, cold medicines that include antihistamines, cough suppressants, antiemetics, allergy medications, or topical preparations containing diphenhydramine. For infants aged 3 months to under 2 years, it is essential to consult a doctor before using this medication, and it should only be used when necessary. Also, individuals with a family history of allergies, those who previously had allergic reactions to medications, and those with heart or liver disease, blood clotting issues, glaucoma, or urination difficulties should consult a specialist before taking this medication. Pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, elderly individuals, and those undergoing treatment should also exercise caution. In particular, those experiencing cough due to smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, or a cough lasting more than one week, as well as those with symptoms of fever or rash or headache accompanying the cough, should consult a professional. If symptoms such as vomiting, severe thirst, constipation, loss of appetite, rash, itching, or urination difficulties occur after taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor. Additionally, if symptoms do not improve after taking the medication 5 to 6 times, stop taking it and consult a professional. The prescribed dosage and administration must be strictly adhered to, and it is advisable not to take this medication for an extended period. Be aware that drowsiness may occur during treatment; therefore, avoid driving or operating machinery, and refrain from alcohol consumption. Store this medication in a sealed container to prevent air from entering, and keep it at room temperature between 1 to 30 degrees Celsius. This will help maintain the medication's effectiveness and prevent deterioration.
