Relief of moderate to severe acute and chronic pain
This medication is used to relieve acute and chronic pain ranging from moderate to severe.
Dosage should be adjusted according to the patient's level of pain and therapeutic response. The initial recommended dose is 2 tablets, and subsequent administration should be at least 12 hours apart, not exceeding 8 tablets per day. Avoid using this medication for prolonged periods unnecessarily, and if long-term administration is required due to the nature and severity of the disease, regular monitoring should be conducted to determine the need for continued use of this medication.
The safety and efficacy of this medication in pediatric patients have not been established, thus it is not recommended for use.
This medication can put stress on the liver, so individuals who consume a lot of alcohol daily should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. If a rash or allergic reaction occurs during treatment, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Do not exceed the prescribed dose, as taking more than the recommended dosage may increase the risk of seizures. Patients with a history of seizures or seizure risk factors should exercise caution when taking this medication. This medication can rarely cause serious allergic reactions, so seek immediate medical care if experiencing trouble breathing or severe skin rashes. Caution is advised when taken with other central nervous system depressants, as this may increase the risk of drowsiness or respiratory depression. Patients with head injuries or increased intracranial pressure may experience worsening symptoms while taking this medication and should use it cautiously. This medication can cause both psychological and physical dependence; therefore, when taking it for a long period, it is essential to observe for dependence and adjust the duration accordingly. Patients with poor liver function must consult a doctor before taking this medication, and should not take it with other acetaminophen products due to the risk of liver toxicity. Patients who are allergic to any components of this medication, in a state of severe respiratory depression, have head trauma, or are taking certain medications should avoid its use. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before taking this medication; it is advisable to avoid it during breastfeeding. Caution is needed as drowsiness or dizziness may occur while driving or operating machinery. In case of overdose, serious respiratory depression, liver damage, etc., may occur, so adhere to the specified dosage and seek immediate medical attention in case of overdose.
