This medication is used to prevent and treat asthma continuously. It also helps relieve symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis. It effectively reduces discomfort caused by asthma and allergic rhinitis, helping maintain a healthy life.

How to take

Adult dose

This medication is taken once daily; for asthma patients, it is taken in the evening. For allergic rhinitis patients, the dosing time should be determined according to the patient's condition. Patients with both asthma and allergic rhinitis should take one tablet in the evening once daily. Adults and adolescents aged 15 and over: Montelukast 10 mg orally once daily.

Precautions

This medication is used in the treatment of asthma and allergic rhinitis, primarily helping to prevent bronchospasms and relieve symptoms. During the course of this medication, neuropsychiatric symptoms may occur, and if symptoms such as agitation, anxiety, depression, hallucinations, or suicidal thoughts arise, immediate consultation with a physician is recommended. This medication contains lactose, so patients with lactose intolerance or related genetic disorders should not take it. Adverse reactions such as fatigue, headache, dyspepsia, cough, and rash may occur; if symptoms worsen or persist, consult a physician.
