How to take

Adult dose

This medication is taken once a day; for asthma patients, it should be taken in the evening. For allergic rhinitis patients, the dosage time is determined according to the patient's condition. Patients with both asthma and allergic rhinitis should take one tablet, one pack, or one film in the evening once a day. Adults and adolescents over 15 years of age should take 10 mg of montelukast once a day orally.

Precautions

This medication is used in the treatment of asthma and allergic rhinitis and helps reduce bronchial inflammation and alleviate symptoms. During treatment, neuropsychiatric symptoms may occur, so if new symptoms or changes in behavior such as restlessness, depression, anxiety, hallucinations, or suicidal thoughts arise, inform your doctor immediately. This medication should not be taken if you are allergic to any of the ingredients or if you have lactose intolerance. Side effects such as fatigue, headaches, abdominal pain, fever, cough, nasal congestion, and dyspepsia may appear. If these symptoms persist or worsen, consult a doctor.
