Precautions

This medicine is a nasal spray that is administered directly into the nose and is primarily used to alleviate allergic rhinitis or inflammation in the nasal cavity. Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to it or any of its components. Also, you should not use this medication if you have an untreated infection in the nose, have recently had nasal surgery, or have an injury in the nose. It is particularly not used in children under the age of 2. Use this medicine cautiously in the following cases. Patients with tuberculosis, systemic infections, herpes simplex infections in the eyes, frequent nosebleeds, those at risk of chickenpox or measles, individuals with certain types of nasal growths or obstructions, and pregnant or nursing women should exercise caution when using this medication. Possible side effects of using this medicine include headaches, cold-like symptoms, inflammation of the throat, nosebleeds, coughing, and upper respiratory infections. Rarely, nasal irritation or rash, liver function abnormalities, allergic reactions, or changes in blood test values may be reported. Long-term use of this medication in the nasal cavity may cause changes to the nasal mucosa, so it's important to regularly check the state of the nose. If a fungal infection occurs in the nose, discontinue the use of the medication or seek appropriate treatment. While this medicine is less likely to cause systemic adrenal function suppression, special caution should be taken when switching to this medication from long-term systemic steroid treatment. Patients at risk of chickenpox or measles should check their medical history and vaccination status before using this medication and seek medical attention immediately if an infection is suspected. Effects may not be immediately noticeable within 48 hours of first use, making consistent use important. In children, this medication may affect growth rate, so pediatric patients should be regularly monitored for growth and it is recommended to use the minimum effective dose possible. Elderly patients may have decreased bodily function, so their condition should be closely monitored during use. Excessive use of this medication may result in abnormal adrenal function, so avoid overuse and gradually reduce the dose under medical guidance. When using this medication, shake the container well and perform a test spray to ensure uniform dispensing; do not spray directly into the eyes or nasal septum, only into the nostrils. Keep out of reach of children; effects on driving or machine operation are not known. This medication may alter blood levels when used with certain medications, so if taking other medications, it is essential to consult with a doctor or pharmacist.
