Precautions

It is safe to avoid this medication for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Patients with bleeding tendencies, those taking anticoagulants, and individuals with severe liver or kidney diseases should not take this medication. Those who have previously experienced allergic reactions to this medication's components should also avoid using it. Additionally, it is not administered to patients who cannot digest galactose or lactose due to lactose intolerance or genetic defects. Children under 12 years old should be cautious about taking this medication. This medication may occasionally cause gastrointestinal symptoms such as abdominal pain, heartburn, nausea, and diarrhea. Rarely, mild bleeding from the gums or nose may occur, and allergic symptoms such as skin rashes or itching might also appear. Very rarely, severe allergic reactions may occur, which could include facial swelling, difficulty breathing, and low blood pressure. There have been reported cases of liver dysfunction, so if symptoms related to liver function arise, use should be discontinued immediately. Platelet counts may decrease, but this could also be due to other illnesses. If symptoms of liver damage such as jaundice, dark urine, severe abdominal pain, and loss of appetite occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor. If symptoms do not improve within a week, or if symptoms such as fever, difficulty breathing, or blood-stained sputum persist, stop taking the medication and consult with medical personnel. It is recommended to take the medication while sitting or standing and not while lying down. No specific drug interactions have been reported with this medication; however, care should be taken when using anticoagulants like warfarin, as it may affect blood coagulation. For individuals who are pregnant or breastfeeding, it is recommended not to use this medication due to undetermined safety. There have been no reported cases of overdose, but exceeding the recommended dose may exacerbate side effects, so consulting a physician is important. This medication should be stored out of reach of children and should not be transferred to other containers. The effects on driving or machine operation are not known.
