Mucolysis and improvement of sputum clearance in acute and chronic respiratory diseases
This medication helps to thin mucus in acute and chronic respiratory conditions, making it easier to expel during coughing, and facilitates comfortable breathing through expectorant action. It is primarily used for patients with excessive or sticky respiratory mucus that causes discomfort. Due to this effect, it supports the smooth recovery of respiratory function and helps alleviate symptoms. Thus, it is used to address mucus-related issues in acute and chronic respiratory diseases.
Adults: Administer 300 mg of erdosteine orally per dose, 2~3 times daily. Do not administer continuously for more than 10 days when treating acute respiratory diseases.
