Precautions

This medication is a corticosteroid for nasal use, which helps to reduce inflammation and relieve allergy symptoms. This medication should not be used in patients with an allergy to this medication or its components, those with untreated nasal mucosal infections, patients who have recently had nasal surgery or have wounds in the nose, and children under 2 years of age. Patients with active respiratory tuberculosis or fungal, bacterial, or viral infections, patients with recurrent nosebleeds, those at risk of infections such as chickenpox or measles, patients with specific nasal disorders, pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, and nursing mothers should use this medication with caution. While using this medication, side effects such as headaches, viral infections, pharyngitis, nosebleeds, coughing, and upper respiratory tract infections may occur, and in rare cases, serious allergic reactions such as anaphylaxis may develop, so if any unusual symptoms occur, use should be stopped immediately and medical consultation sought. Long-term use at high doses may result in systemic corticosteroid side effects, so caution is advised, especially if there are symptoms of nasal infection or changes in the nasal mucosa that require regular testing. This medication is important for infection prevention and prompt treatment in patients at risk of exposure to chickenpox or measles, and its effects may not be fully evident within 48 hours of the first use. Careful monitoring of growth is necessary in children due to the possibility of growth delay; safety has not been established for children under 2 years. Elderly patients may have diminished physiological functions, so their condition should be closely observed and the medication used cautiously. If overdosed, no specific treatment is required; however, systemic corticosteroid side effects may occur, so caution is necessary. Before use, the container should be shaken well, and if it has not been used for a certain period, a test spray should be done to confirm uniform spraying, and it should not be sprayed directly into the eyes or on the septum, but only into the nasal cavity. Keep out of reach of children; no specific effects have been reported when driving or operating machinery.
