This medication is used to treat peripheral and central neuropathic pain in adults. It is also used as an adjunct in patients with epilepsy who experience partial seizures, particularly regardless of whether there are secondary general symptoms. Additionally, it is effectively used in the treatment of fibromyalgia.

How to take

Adult dose

This medication is administered orally, divided into two doses per day, regardless of food. 1. Neuropathic Pain - Peripheral neuropathic pain: Starting dose of 150 mg per day, can be increased to 300 mg daily within 3 to 7 days, can further be increased to a maximum of 600 mg daily at 7-day intervals if needed. - Central neuropathic pain: Starting dose of 150 mg per day, can be increased to 300 mg daily after one week.

Child dose

There is insufficient safety and efficacy data for children under 12 years of age and adolescents aged 12 to 17; therefore, use is not recommended.

Precautions

This medication may increase the risk of suicidal thoughts or behaviors, so mood changes or unusual behavior should be closely monitored during use. Do not take if allergic to pregabalin or any components of this drug.
