Precautions

This drug should be used with caution in women in the first three months of pregnancy or those who may become pregnant, as administering more than 5,000 IU of vitamin A may increase the risk of congenital malformations in the fetus. Those with allergic reactions to the ingredients in this drug or patients with hemophilia should not use it. Patients with hypercalcemia or poor kidney function should use this drug cautiously due to the vitamin D it contains, which may worsen symptoms, and should be monitored through blood tests. Children over 11 years or those with allergic tendencies, and individuals with a history of drug hypersensitivity should also use it with caution. Overdose may lead to allergic reactions to vitamins A and D, and in severe cases, dangerous symptoms such as shock or anaphylaxis may occur, necessitating immediate cessation of use and treatment. For long-term use, it is advisable to have regular checks for accumulation of vitamins A and D in the body. It may interact with other medications, so care should be taken to avoid using it alongside acetazolamide, chlorthalidone, tetracycline antibiotics, and alkaline solutions. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should only use appropriate doses according to expert guidance to avoid the risk of side effects due to vitamin overdose. It is not recommended for children under 11 years as safety and efficacy have not been established. Older adults may require dose adjustments due to potential declines in physical function. This drug may affect clinical lab results, so it is important to inform healthcare personnel before tests. Use immediately after opening, discard any unused portions, and store away from direct sunlight as it contains light-sensitive ingredients. It is preferable to store it in a refrigerator out of reach of children to ensure safety and to use it within 8 hours after mixing with the injection solution, without directly injecting the undiluted concentrate.
