This medication should not be used by individuals who are allergic to this medication or its components. Additionally, since it contains lactose, it should not be used by those with genetic problems that prevent lactose digestion. Patients with liver issues or a history of liver disease should proceed with caution, as using this medication may worsen liver function. If allergic symptoms such as rash, urticaria, swelling in the face or extremities, or severe itching occur while using this medication, use should be stopped immediately, and medical assistance should be sought. Occasionally, neurological symptoms such as drowsiness, headaches, dizziness, and insomnia may occur, so caution is required. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and constipation can occur rarely. Liver function abnormalities or jaundice may arise, so liver status should be monitored closely, and medication should be discontinued if abnormalities are noted. Rarely, it may affect kidney function, causing protein in the urine, thus caution is needed. Urological symptoms such as frequent urination, hematuria, and dysuria may also occur, so observation is required. Symptoms such as increased heart rate may occur, and respiratory symptoms like difficulty breathing or nasal congestion can rarely appear. Blood-related abnormal symptoms can also occur, so careful monitoring is necessary. Gynecomastia, menstrual irregularities, and chest pain have also been reported. This medication is not a rapid relief medication for asthma attacks, so asthma patients should understand this. Patients undergoing long-term steroid treatment should gradually reduce steroid dosages while using this medication, with medical supervision required. Drowsiness may occur, so caution should be exercised while driving or operating machinery. If its effectiveness is not confirmed, prolonged use is not recommended. For seasonal allergies, it is advisable to start taking it before symptoms begin and to continue taking it throughout the duration of symptoms. This medication has low interaction potential with other drugs and is generally safe to use with most drugs, but some caution is warranted due to limited experience. Pregnant women or women who may become pregnant should carefully consider the benefits and risks before using this medication, and those who are breastfeeding should preferably avoid its use or stop breastfeeding. Safety for children, infants, and low-birth-weight infants has not been sufficiently confirmed. The elderly may often have decreased liver and kidney function, creating a higher risk for adverse reactions, so regular monitoring of their condition is necessary, and medication dosages should be adjusted if needed. There is a risk of cardiac arrhythmias with an overdose, so if overdose is suspected, appropriate treatment should be received at a hospital immediately.
