Precautions

This medication can put strain on the liver, so individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic drinks a day should consult a physician or pharmacist before use. The acetaminophen component included in this medication can rarely cause serious skin reactions; therefore, if any abnormal symptoms like rash or itching occur, discontinue use immediately. The maximum daily dosage of acetaminophen is 4,000mg, and to prevent liver damage, it is important not to take this medication in conjunction with other medications containing acetaminophen. The pseudoephedrine component in this medication can rarely cause severe skin reactions, so if symptoms such as fever or pustules on the skin occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Individuals who have hypersensitivity or allergies to this medication’s ingredients, infants under 3 months of age, and those taking certain antidepressants or psychiatric medications, or those with severe hypertension or kidney disease should not use this medication. It is crucial not to take other medications that include cough and cold remedies, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines together with this medication. Especially, children, pregnant women, the elderly, and individuals with liver, kidney, or heart conditions should consult a physician or pharmacist before use. If any abnormal symptoms such as rash, vomiting, dizziness, or difficulty breathing occur while using this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult medical personnel. This medication should not be administered to children under 2 years old except in special cases. Adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage and regimen, avoid prolonged usage, and refrain from alcohol consumption during treatment. Additionally, this medication may cause drowsiness, so caution should be exercised when driving or operating machinery. When taken with certain antibiotics, this medication may rarely cause serious metabolic acidosis, so caution is advised when taken together with these drugs. Store the medication out of reach of children, in an airtight container, away from direct sunlight, in a cool, dry place. Also, for quality maintenance, it is advised not to transfer to another container.
