It is also advisable not to administer this drug to patients with end-stage renal disease or those undergoing hemodialysis. It should not be given to infants under 1 year old and should be administered as a liquid rather than a tablet for children under 6 years old. Side effects such as drowsiness, headache, dizziness, nausea, and abdominal pain may occur, so consult a medical professional if symptoms are severe. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should exercise caution when taking this medication, and consult a professional as it may affect the baby's health. Do not use in infants under 1 year old, and for children under 12 years old, dosage and safety should be considered before administration. Elderly patients may have decreased kidney function, so initiate treatment at a lower dose and monitor the condition for adjustment. Before allergy testing, stopping this medication is necessary as it may influence test results. In the case of overdose, symptoms such as drowsiness or agitation may occur, and there is no specific antidote, so treatment should be based on symptoms. This medication is not effectively removed by hemodialysis, so follow medical instructions in case of overdose.
