This medication is used to relieve fever and pain associated with colds, headaches, neuralgia, muscle pain, menstrual pain, and various pains such as sprain pain. It is also effective for tooth pain, joint pain, and rheumatic pain. This medication helps reduce various types of pain and improves symptoms.

How to take

Adult dose

Children over 12 years and adults: Take 2 capsules at a time, 3 to 4 times a day (every 4 to 6 hours) as needed. Do not exceed 4 grams (12 capsules) in one day. This medication should be taken at the minimum effective dose for the shortest duration possible.

Precautions

This medication should be discussed with a doctor or pharmacist before use by those who regularly consume more than three drinks a day to prevent liver damage. If a serious skin reaction such as rash, itching, or blistering occurs while taking this medication, it should be discontinued immediately and a doctor should be consulted. This medication contains acetaminophen, and taking more than the maximum daily dose of 4,000mg can cause liver damage, so it should not be taken with other acetaminophen-containing medications. Individuals with an allergy to this drug, peptic ulcer disease, severe liver dysfunction, kidney dysfunction, or heart failure should not take this medication. Individuals with a history of aspirin-induced asthma or those taking certain medications (barbiturates, tricyclic antidepressants) should also avoid this medication. People with liver or kidney problems, those with bleeding tendencies, elderly individuals, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and patients on long-term warfarin therapy should consult a healthcare professional before use. If severe side effects occur during use, such as difficulty breathing, skin rash, nausea, vomiting, severe abdominal pain, or blood abnormalities, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor. Long-term use of this medication may require regular blood tests and liver function tests; if abnormalities are found, dosage adjustments or discontinuation may be necessary. Children and elderly individuals should take the minimal dosage and be monitored for adverse reactions, and it is advisable not to take with other anti-inflammatory analgesics. Do not use this medication for more than 10 days for pain relief or more than 3 days for fever relief, and if symptoms persist, consult a healthcare professional. In case of overdose, treatment should be sought immediately even if symptoms are absent, and specific medications may be necessary for liver protection. When storing, place in a sealed container at room temperature, keep out of reach of children, and it is safest not to remove it from the original container.
