Precautions

This drug is not recommended for use by pregnant or breastfeeding women. Patients with a tendency for bleeding or those taking blood coagulation suppressants should not use this drug. Patients with severe liver or kidney dysfunction should also avoid this medication. Those with allergic reactions to the ingredients of this drug should refrain from taking it. As this drug contains lactose, patients with hereditary lactose intolerance, galactose intolerance, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not use it. It is advisable for children under the age of 12 not to use this drug. When taking this medication, gastrointestinal symptoms such as abdominal pain, heartburn, nausea, and diarrhea may occur, so caution is advised. Occasionally, mild bleeding symptoms such as gum bleeding or nosebleeds may appear. Allergic reactions such as skin rash, hives, and itching may occur rarely, and if symptoms appear, consult a doctor. In very rare cases, serious allergic reactions such as facial swelling, difficulty breathing, and hypotension may occur, requiring immediate treatment. Symptoms indicating worsening liver function have also been reported, so if liver health feels compromised, discontinue use and consult a physician. Since platelet counts may decrease, special caution is warranted for those with blood-related diseases. There have been occasional reports of liver damage or hepatitis after use, thus attention to liver health is recommended. If symptoms such as jaundice, dark urine, severe abdominal pain, or loss of appetite occur, discontinue use immediately. If fever, difficulty breathing, or blood-tinged sputum persists, stop taking the medication and seek medical attention. It is advisable not to take this medication while lying down. Caution is advised when taking this drug with other medications that affect blood coagulation, particularly coumarin-type drugs, as the risk of bleeding may increase. No interactions between this drug and other medicines have been reported so far. Pregnant or breastfeeding women are preferably advised not to take this medication. There are no known cases of overdose, but side effects may worsen, so if the dosage is exceeded, consult a doctor. It should be kept in a safe place out of reach of children, and transferring to another container is not recommended as it may compromise quality.
