How to take

Adult dose

Administered orally, can be taken at any time of the day regardless of meals. Adults: 2 mg once daily. Elderly over 65 years: Initial dose is 1 mg once daily, may be increased to 2 mg once daily if necessary. For patients with severe renal impairment (GFR < 30 ml/min/1.73 m2), administer 1 mg once daily. Dosage adjustment is not required for mild to moderate renal impairment.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by certain patients. For instance, individuals allergic to any of the ingredients in this drug or patients with severely impaired kidney function requiring dialysis should not take it. Pregnant women are not recommended to use this medication, and women of childbearing age should use effective contraceptive methods while taking it. Breastfeeding women should also avoid using this medication. It is advisable for children and adolescents under 18 years of age not to take this drug.
